Subject: Short Maintainance Coming Up
We will be performing a short maintainance later tonight on both realms. Ke=
ep an eye on in-game announcements for the exact time, maintainance should
=
only take a few minutes for each realm.
Purpose of this
is to apply a patch that should prevent the so called 'dead=
-bug' from occ
uring - people being dead but still able to cast spells and u=
se abilities
, mostly encountered in arenas and battlegrounds. No other chan=
ges are sc
heduled, so overall effect should be minimal.

Patching complete, happy playing!

Subject: Role-playing realm patched
A minor patch has just been applied to our role-playing realm as final test=
before putting it live on the Excalibur realm. This patch addresses two i
s=
sues:
- Battleground berserker / heal buffs.
- Tri
ggered spell related instability problems.
So far everything
checks out, so expect the fixes to go live next - keep an=
eye out for the
ingame anouncement!
For more information, see the forums.
Update
Main realm is now patched as well, so
far so good. As a nice side-effect, i=
t seems more object-based spells ar
e working now, including cleansed sunflo=
wers in Felwood.

We just finished writing a patch that allows us to install additional realm=

and=
should respond faster. Patching should only take a minute.

Subject: Role-Playing Realm added
Though some of you might have already noticed, there is now an extra realm =

While normal playing is possible, we advic

Subject: Core Update Upcoming
As some of you might know, we are currently running a fairly old core (whic=
h is to say, several months old, which is a long time in server developmen

). For obvious reasons we are hesitant to update - things generally work
we=
ll, and we get high uptimes. It is however about time we looked at wha
t has=
changed and been fixed - and the list is long.
For t
his reason, the testserver is currently running a completely up-to-dat=
e c
ore with ditto database. So far we have been unable to find any major ne=
w
problems (and quite a lot of good fixes), but the world of warcraft is hu=
ge and we simply cannot test everything. To this end you, the players, are
=
invited to login on the testserver and check out your class's main skills
, =
your favourite instances, or the battleground of your choice - and let
us k=
now if you find any new bugs. This public testing period will extend
for th=
e rest of the week, after which we intend to put the update live &
perform =
some routine maintainance as well. Of course, we will see to it t
hat a char=
acter of your choice on the live server will get a suitable rew

You can login on
the testserver by selecting the 'Change Realm' button on y=

selection screen and selecting the 'TBC Test Server' found un=
der the 'Dev

As you might have noticed, current server uptime sets a new record with mor=

- Wave timers in Mount Hyjal have been slightly increased to official val

- The sisters in Sunwell Plateau are no longer scripted so th

- Teron Gorefiend in the Black Temple no longer spams emotes.
