Core patch upcoming

Next monday, august 2nd, we will be performing a core update of our main realm. This change puts live the update already applied on our role-playing realm. Since it has been running stable on our RP server for the past weeks we are confident the update will not cause much inconvenience, while addressing certain critical problems.

Be aware this update will take anywhere from half an hour to an hour to apply, during which time the main realm (and at times the test and RP realms) will be offline. We will also be performing some regular server maintainance while updating, so in all downtime will be slightly longer than usual. We hope for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What: core update + maintainance
When: Monday, august 2nd.
How late: around 20.00h CET, but to be anounce in-game.
How long: anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

We are still working on Nightbane's script (as well as Netherspite's) so for now he is rather easy, but he should at least put up a bit of a fight - and loot of course!

For those of you who have requested a character restore in the past few weeks: check your accounts, all known restore requests have just been handled.

Note that the restore process is not perfect, sometimes not all your gear is restored. There is very little we can do about this so make sure you don't accidentally delete your characters! Alternatively you can try sending an e-mail with a screenshot to the address listed at the bottom of this page, though keep in mind the GM's are very busy.

If you accidentally deleted your character recently and want it back, we might be able to help. Just send an e-mail or create an in-game ticket mentioning the character name and the account it used to be in and we might be able to get it back. Keep in mind though, restores are limited to once per character only!

Many people of you have voted, thank you all for this.
Since 57.45% of the votes were to allow spawnkilling everywhere, it is allowed to spawnkill anyone everywhere without getting a chance to get a GM on your ass after doing so.
This change will get us a little closer to being a blizzlike TBC PvP server.

It will be cut from the rules as soon as there's someone around to do so, but it's already allowed now.
